The HPCNTX hospital planning group was formed for the sole purpose of assisting hospitals throughout the region by being better prepared to respond to an all-hazard disasters. HPCNTX is also the grant administrator for the Hospital Preparedness Grants for FY08-FY12 for Trauma Service Areas C & D. TSA-C & D is comprised of 33 ASPR/DSHS HPP participating hospitals within 26 counties. The region covers a wide range of hospital types from level 1 trauma to state operated hospitals. Our mission is to provide member hospitals with the best tools, education and information that they need to be better prepare their hospital to interact with regional response partners when a disaster strikes. By working in a collaborative and productive manor allows regional hospitals to set the standard for healthcare in disaster preparedness and response. |
